Ideally located between Bordeaux and Saint Emilion, come and enjoy this enchanted break in the heart of the hilly vineyards of Fronsac

Arrived in the region in 2016, we had a huge crush on the Château La Fontaine. Both the main house, dating from the 19th century and its outbuildings in old Girondine stone contribute to the charm of the property. But it was this 360° view of the vineyards that definitely convinced us to come and visit. In addition to being famous for its vineyards in AOC, Fronsac has the particularity of a relief in hillsides. With the rhythm of the year and the light of the seasons, its valleys are reminiscent of the landscapes of Tuscany, hence the nickname «Petite Toscane» that we, Fronsadais, give it.

Having from the outset the desire to share this setting of greenery and calm, we took advantage of it, in the wake of the renovations of the house, to transform, in 2017, the main outbuilding into 2 cottages, Rive Gauche and Rive Droite therefore.

In 2018, the outdoor pool enriched the comfort of our offer and in 2022 we created (with our little hands!) a petanque court to offer you the enjoyment of more leisure.

Each cottage has 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a small terrace that can accommodate your meals and aperitifs.

For your greatest comfort, we have put the priority on the quality of your beds. Thus, benefiting from a very good bedding, The rooms have been designed to be able to meet your needs in double or single bed (king size bed in 180 X 200 or single in 90X200 on request).

Outside, each terrace is equipped with a barbecue and offers an advantage: Terrace Left Bank to enjoy the sun and the proximity of the vineyards, terrace Right Bank for meals under the cool shaded vegetation
